What have you been working on recently ?
Lately I’ve been working on a couple of things. I’ve been focusing mostly on starting my own micro-label which will surface soon with some sick tunes! Haven’t had much time to produce lately but i’ll go back to it very soon… Also been working on a renewed B:LOW night with the rest of the crew and in February we’ll have a big things for the BCN heads !
How and where did you record the mix ?
I recorded the mix at my friends house because my 1210s are still in Portugal getting all dusty! It was a Saturday afternoon and I had an annoying hangover which made things a bit harder. But in a way I think the party vibes from the night before were transposed to the mix 
You are running party in Barcelona, how is the dubstep scene down there ?
The Dubstep scene, as such, didn’t really exist in BCN before 2009. There were random events – from big festivals like Sonar to small Wednesday night bar nights – but nothing serious was done before that. 2009 saw the birth of some very interesting initiatives such as the FunDub festival (organized by Disboot), or our own B·LOW monthly nights. The B·LOW nights are great because all the people involved (and there are 13 of us !) have the same views on how a Dubstep night should be done and we take care of everything: the best sound system, the best guests and most importantly an amazing crowd !
We don’t hear too much about Spanish Electro artists here, so can you give us some names we should check ?
I would take a step further and broaden the selection to « Iberian Artists » since the links between Spain and Portugal are quite tight when it comes to electronic music – or maybe I just see it that way because I’ve got one foot on each side . People I would definitely highlight : Cauto and the Disboot crew (BCN), Octa Push (LIS), Cardopusher (BCN/Venezuela), 23Hz & Numaestro (BCN/UK), Das Nevez (LIS/MAD), Batida (LIS), Litlle Island crew (BCN/NYC), Ikkaku (BCN/Belgique) and Nehuen (BCN/Argentina) who is about to launch his own label « Tropicalia ».
